If you are part of both acceptance networks (Edenred and Mastercard), priority will be determined based on the payment method chosen.
If the customer uses their physical card, the standard Edenred scheme will always take priority.
If your customer chooses mobile payment using a connected device (smartphone, watch, etc.), the transaction will be processed through the Mastercard scheme. In this case, Mastercard handles the reimbursement according to the terms set out in your contract with your acquirer, just like any other transaction involving a Mastercard card.
However, if your terminal does not accept the Edenred scheme:
- all transactions are processed through Mastercard,
- including payments made with a physical card.
In all cases, you can view:
- transaction details,
- your reimbursements,
- invoices related to Mastercard transactions,
in your Merchant Area on MyEdenred.
Do you offer mobile payment in your establishment? You can now also accept Edenred vouchers via Apple Pay and Google Pay™, using a smartphone or a connected watch.
