Since January 1, 2024, the maximum face value of meal vouchers has increased to €15. This represents a 39% increase.
Your customers can now enjoy and savour a delicious meal full of high-quality ingredients in your business at any time, be it at the end of the day, over the weekend, or during their holidays, which was not legally possible before.
Good to know: a daily limit (for food expenditure) has been set at €75 max. per user (5 x the value of the voucher). If a customer has already reached their limit or if their Edenred Meal transaction exceeds this amount, it will be refused or adjusted. Feel free to remind customers of this limit or explain it.
These legal changes are valid for all the issuers of vouchers.
