The new Edenred Gift card

Edenred is evolving its offering in Luxembourg with the new Edenred Gift card, a card dedicated exclusively to gift vouchers.

This new card will be 100% virtual and will operate on the Mastercard network. Beneficiaries will therefore be able to use it directly from their smartphone or smartwatch to pay for their in-store purchases.

This development is part of an innovation-driven approach that meets the needs of clients, users, and the Luxembourg market, where payment habits are becoming increasingly digital, mobile, sustainable, and immediate. 

Accept Edenred Gift

• Simple, fast and secure activation: Mastercard activation is simple and fast, and requires no change of equipment and no installation costs. In addition, the Mastercard scheme is compatible with all payment terminals.
• Reimbursement via the Mastercard scheme: transactions processed through the Mastercard scheme will be reimbursed to you by your acquirer in accordance with the terms of your contract. Edenred will then invoice you for its service fee. Please settle your invoices within the indicated timeframe.
• 24/7 self-service tracking: with MyEdenred, you can access your transactions, reimbursements, invoices, and all essential information at any time to monitor your business activity efficiently on a daily basis.

Note: in some cases, a physical card may also be offered, subject to the employer’s approval. However, the virtual format remains the standard format.

You already accept Edenred Gift: to continue accepting Edenred gift vouchers, it is necessary that the Mastercard network be activated on your payment terminal.
